I might wait for Bourgogne, will see.Heya Commanders, Wraithhunter reporting for duty! I just had a quick question about the Birthday Coupon because I just want to make 100% sure I am reading this right since my Birthday is next month on the 17th. I have the same view on Plymouth, initial reviews are not clear, and there are too few of them out there to have reliable stats. I had the impression that Somers has the better guns (vs Shima), similarly to the Gearing. Have no idea about how effective Plymouth can be and compared to which other ship(s) to make its steep steel price tag worth. You may have to wait a little longer for Bourgogne, but I think it is the only ship in steel category that is worth of so much steel, not to mention you'd like it more than others since you're a BB main.įDR is overpriced but it seems like a team dependent CV that enjoys farming a lot which could be fun for its owner. In Random you can always run her around to find broad sides in which it is good at punishing heavily. Stalin is used extremely static in CBs due to the tactical game play. I understand and still think 25K steel is too much for Somers (zero AA, loses gun battles to even a Shima and if you want a torp boat there are better or similar ones for free). Also, there is the overpriced FdR powerhouse, but I seldom play CVs. Bourgogne is 3750 steel more, so I'd have to wait even more. My only concern is that I'm not a DD main, and already have an overload of high quality DDs (Shima, Marceau, Smaland, Halland). While I respect LWM, I tend to not always agree with her final judgement. I've heard that Stalin shares this peculiarity. But I have the Moskva and I find the playstyle a bit boring. For Stalin, I'd need 2250 more which is probably doable with some ranked play. I'm at 15000 steel, will get to 18750 with the snowflakes and some dailies.
